What is the implantation procedure at AstraDent?

After the initial diagnosis, we refer you to a CT scan, which is performed in our dental office. This is necessary to assess the condition of the root space of the tooth.

The procedure begins with the introduction of local anesthesia. The whole procedure takes only a few minutes. As soon as the anesthesia begins to take effect, the surgeon makes a neat incision in the gums and installs the implant in place of the tooth root, after which sutures are applied for several days. At the end of the procedure, a temporary prosthesis is installed.

After the procedure, there is a recovery period. It lasts from several days to several weeks. During this time, the implant is integrated into the bone tissue. During all this time, we maintain contact with patients. The next stage is the installation of a “screw” that connects the implant to the orthopedic structure.
